Taylor McFerrin was born in Brooklyn, New York on June 29. He has been active in the music scene since 2006 with the release of the EP Broken Vibes. Ferrin is also known for being the son of Bobby McFerrin, a conductor. Prior to his debut, he appeared as a backing vocal in the track “Jubilee” in his father’s self-titled album which was released in 1982. In 2002, he was also in control of the beatbox in “Taylor Made” in his father’s Beyond Words album. Taylor’s debut album Early Riser dropped in 2014. It was released under Brainfeeder Records. He released another album, Love’s Last Chance in 2019. Aside from releasing his own music, he was also the producer of Jose James’ “Love Conversation” and TK Wonder’s “Nightwalker.”
