Born in December 13, 1948, Theodore Anthony Nugent or simply Ted, is from Redford, Michigan. He learned music at a very young age, disciplined by his father where the ideals and beliefs have been passed down to him. During the early ‘60s, Nugent formed Royal Highboys and Lourdes, influenced by the likes of The Rolling Stones and Yardbirds.
He is highly-acclaimed as a musician, but became part of controversies due to his beliefs and principles. He is a pro-right wing, a pro-gun advocate, and appreciates animal hunting. However, he is also an anti-drugs and anti-drink advocate who is also known to be a family man. His latest album “Shutup & Jam!” was released in 2014.
