Teddy Thompson is a folk and rock musician born on 19th February 1976 in London, UK. He was born into a family of musicians as his father and brother were both musicians. At the age of 18, Thompson formed his own band and moved to Los Angeles, where he became a singer and guitarist in his father's band in the 1990s. He released his first album, titled "Teddy Thompson," which was not so successful. This was followed by the release of a moderately successful EP titled "Blunderbuss."
His second album, titled "Separate Ways," was released in 2005, followed by a third album, "Upfront & Down Low," in July 2007. Thompson's fourth album, titled "A Piece of What You Need," was released in June 2008 via Verve/Forecast. He has received many positive reviews from the United States and the United Kingdom for his exceptional talent as a vocalist of hummable and personal pop tunes.
