Tems Bio
Temilade Openiyi, better known by her stage name Tems, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter, who performs afro-pop, soul, and R&B music. She was born in Lagos, Nigeria, on June 11, 1995. Tems began her music career in 2015, and she released her debut single Mr. Rebel in 2018. Her global reach has expanded steadily with a slew of international hits and collaborations with artists like Drake, Justin Bieber, Wizkid, and Brent Faiyaz. Her discography includes the hit single Essence, Found, Free Mind, Crazy Things, Damages, Replay, and the album For Broken Ears. She was featured in Drake’s album Certified Lover Boy alongside Lil Baby, JAY-Z, Travis Scott, Future Young Thug, and Yebba. Tems has won multiple awards including an All Africa Music Award for Song of the Year, an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding International Song, and Soul Train Music Award for Best Collaboration.
