Ten Tonnes, whose real name is Ethan Barnett, was born on the 23rd of August, 1996 in Hertford, United Kingdom. He is the younger brother of George Ezra, who taught George music and taught him about musicians like Bob Dylan. His first EP “Lucy” was released in 2016. From there, he went on to release another EP just a year later, called “Born To Lose” and later still his breakthrough single “Cracks Between”. In 2018 he continued releasing singles, such as “Lay It On Me”, which has more than one hundred and eighty thousand views on YouTube, and “G.I.V.E.” which first appeared on radio on BBC’s Radio One in August of 2019.
