Tensnake Bio

Known to the world as Tensnake, Marco Niemerski was born in 1975 in Germany, and has made an international name for himself as a DJ and producer. As a child, Tensnake was a fan of disco and funk music, and his older brother was very instrumental in opening his eyes to the music that he would eventually grow up to make. In 2005, he founded the record label Mirau with his friends, and released the album Around the House. The label has also released a number of compilations, which has pleased club goers since its debut.

Tensnake is most widely recognized for his track “Coma Cat”, which was released in 2010, yet his work in 2012 remixing the songs of singers such as Aloe Blacc and Lana Del Rey helped him to achieve his deserved fame. His 2014 album Glow is more of a unified album, rather than simply a compilation of dance songs. It has received worldwide praise for being a tremendous album that is full of life and energy.
