Terrell Owens Bio

Terrell Owens is a former American football wide receiver who played in the National Football League for 16 seasons. He was born Terrell Eldorado Owens on the 7th of December, 1973, in Alexander City, Alabama, U.S. He played college football at the University of Tennessee and he was selected in the third round of the 1996 NFL Draft by the San Francisco 49ers. He played with the team during seven seasons. In 2004 he was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles and two years later he signed with the Dallas Cowboys before being released after three seasons. He last played professionally for the Allen Wranglers in 2012. During his career Owens earned many awards including being a six-time Pro Bowl selection and five-time first-team All-Pro. He also holds or shares several NFL records, like ranking third in career receiving yards at 15,934 and third in receiving touchdowns at 153. In 2018, he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
