Terrence Vaughn Mann is an American actor born in Kentucky in 1951. He is known for his work on musical theater. He trained at the North Carolina School for the Arts and directed the Children's Theatre for Raleigh, North Carolina's Theatre In The Park after proving himself in the state's scene. After taking part in productions of "A Christmas Carol" and "Romeo & Juliet", Mann moved to New York and landed his Broadway breakthrough role as Rum Tum Tum Tugger in "Cats." Through the 1980s he appeared on films like "Critters" and "A Chorus Line," while also landing roles in Broadway's "Les Miserables" and "Rags." Mann was twice nominated as Best Actor at the Tony awards, and continued to have a prolific film, TV and theater career, including sequels to the "Critters" franchise, the historical series "Liberty! The American Revolution," and Netflix's "Sense8."
