Terrence Ross is a professional basketball player of the NBA. He was born Terrence James Elijah Ross on February 5, 1991 in Portland, Oregon, U.S. He started playing basketball at Jefferson High School, where he won the Oregon 5A Player of the Year. In his college years, Ross played with the Huskies, earning an honorable mention PAC 10 All-Freshman, with an average of 8.0 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.0 assists for a total of 34 games. In June 2012, Ross signed with the Toronto Raptors, and the next year he had a season-best game, averaging 26 points. In 2013, the Toronto Raptors re-signed Ross, extending the contract for the 2014-2015 season. In 2015, Ross signed a three-year contract extension with the Raptors. In 2017, Ross was traded to the Orlando Magic in exchange for Serge Ibaka.
