Tevin Campbell, born as Tevin Jermond Campbell, on November 12, 1976, in Waxahachie, Texas, is an American singer, songwriter, and actor. In 1988, Tevin Campbell signed a contract with the record label Warner Bros. Records, and the next year he collaborated with Quincy Jones on his song Tomorrowland which was then included in his 1989 studio album named Back on the Block. In 1991, Tevin Campbell released his debut album, named T.E.V.I.N which was certified platinum. His highest-selling and most popular single named Tell Me What You What Me To Do was included in his debut album. His second studio album was certified double-Platinum. Since then, Tevin Campbell has released two more albums, which were not as successful as the first two. Apart from his music career, Tevin Campbell appeared in the sequel to Prince’s Purple Rain named Graffiti Bridge and made a guest appearance on the famous television series The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, among other roles.
