The 4 of Us is a musical group from Ireland. It has been a favorite rock group since its formation in 1988. The band consists of vocalist/guitarist Brendan Murphy, bassist/guitarist Declan Murphy, keyboardist/pianist Paul Murphy, bassist John McCandles, bassist Gareth Hughes, keyboardist/programmer Pat O’Donnell, bassist Conor McCreanor and pianist/keyboardist Enda Walsh. The band is best known overseas for their work in the late ‘80s and ‘90s.
The 4 of Us released their first album, titled “Songs of the Tempted,” in 1989 on CBS Records. One of the singles in the album called “Mary” became one of the most played songs on Irish radios. The band released their second album, titled “Man Alive,” in 1992. They released another album, titled “Fingerprints,” in November 2006 and a live album, titled “Live at Vicar Street” in 2009. They’ve continued to release new songs and live performances as well as solo works from some group members.
