The Antlers is a Brooklyn, New York Indie-pop band led by singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Peter Silberman. Initially, Silberman used the name as a solo project, releasing full-length albums “Uprooted” and “In the Attic of the Universe” in 2006 and 2007 respectively, before moving on to recruiting Michael Lerner (drums) and Darby Cicci (keyboards and trumpet) for two EP’s and a 2009 autobiographical full-length album, “Hospice”. This album received high critical acclaim in indie oriented outlets like NPR and Pitchfork and sold out its two independent-released editions. The band toured the world with their equally acclaimed follow-up album “Burst Apart” in 2011. After one remix EP in 2011, and a studio EP in 2012, the band released “Familiars” in 2014.
