The APX Bio
The APX are an Atlanta based electronic duo. They are composed of singer Erika Dawn Rhodes and keyboardist Daniel "Dee" Rhodes, which happen to be husband and wife. They started their musical duo in 2016, working on original music that mixed classical funk, jazz, blues, pop and R&B. Their debut album was released in 2017 under the title “Electrik Funk” and it gained attention in the local funk scene. The album included the hit single “Right On Time” which got very positive reviews. Since 2017, the band has opened for artists such as Dam-Funk, Kindred the Family Soul, Robert Glasper, and many others. In 2019, the released their second album titled “Amplified Experiment”. They have a solid fan base, having over 50 000 followers on their social media.
