The Arcs Bio
Formed in 2015, Dan Auerbach put together The Arcs. Originally from the Black Keys, Auerbach wanted to keep himself busy after their Patrick Carney, their drummer suffered a shoulder injury. During the Black Keys’ silence, Auerbach went on a side project which resulted to The Arcs. Joined by Leon Michaels, The Arcs worked on production projects for Lana Del Rey and Dr. John.
A bit later, other musicians like Homer Steinweiss, Nick Movshon, Richard Swift, and Kenny Vaughan joined the band making their debut with a single commemorating the Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao Fight in May 2015. As a boxing lover, Auerbach wrote songs like “Stay in My Corner” and “Tomato Can.”
