The Bennies Bio
The Bennies are a psychedelic rock band quartet, with the members Anty Horgan (lead vocals, keyboard), Julien Rozenbergs (guitar), Craig Selak (bass), and David Beaumont (drums), all natives of Melbourne, Australia. They are very much a counter-culture revival band with album covers that evoke head shop decor, though they claim influences from punk rock and ska. Their songs revolve around partying, even to titling one of their songs “Party! Party! Party!”
The Bennies signed to the Poison City Records label in 2013. They have released three albums to date, most recently “Wisdom Machine” in 2016. The Bennies have also toured with the bands Dead Kennedys, NOFX, and the Smith Street Band. They have toured across Australia, New Zealand, and Europe, most notably with their 2014 “Knights Forever” tour.
