Known by her stage name The Black Madonna, Marea Stamper, is an American DJ, producer, and musician. She was born on October 22, 1977, in Kentucky, United States. Marea Stamper started DJing while attending college, eventually creating the stage name of The Black Madonna back in 2012. She earned her initial success and recognition is the first-ever creative director at the well-known Chicago-based nightclub, named Smart Bar. Some of her hit singles include Exodus and A Jealous Heart Never Rest as well as her remix of Silk City & Dua Lipa’s song named Electricity. Her mix named Beats in Space, reached number four on Resident Advisor’s Top 10 Online Mixtapes back in 2014. In 2016, The Black Madonna was named DJ of the year by Mixmag.
