The Blue Stones Bio
The Blue Stones are a Canadian blues-rock duo. They started playing in 2011, in Windsor, Ontario. The Blue Stones consist of Tarek Jafar as lead vocals, guitar, and Justin Tessier as drums and backing vocals. The Blue Stones first released an eponymous EP in 2011. It quickly became a hit throughout the local Ontario scene. In 2016, The Blue Stones released their full-length debut album internationally titled “Black Holes”. This album features a darker and more dynamic side to the group, which shows their progression towards a more alternative/mixed blues sound. In 2018, The Blue Stones signed a contract with Entertainment One, and they relaunched their debut LP “Black Holes” in the same year. Also in 2018, they toured across the United States with their “Be My Fire Tour”, which was their first official tour. In 2020, The Blue Stones were nominated for the Juno Award in the Breakthrough Group of the Year category.
