The Boy Next Door Bio
The Boy Next Door, born Lex van Berkel in Tilburg on January 19, 1993, is an electronic DJ and music producer from Tilburg, The Netherlands. In 2017, he released his first single entitled La Colegiala and it became a hit. It peaked at number five on the Dutch official charts and even charted at number 76 in Sweden. After achieving such success, Spinnin’ Records decided to give him a recording contract. In 2018, he released his next single Whenever, which is a remake of Shakira’s iconic song Whenever, Wherever. For the song worked with Kris Kross Amsterdam and recruited the vocals of Conor Maynard. The song proved to be another hit after charting across different European countries, the highest of which was in The Netherlands at number 3.
