The Budos Band Bio
The Budos Band is made up of 9 young and talented musicians from Staten Island, New York, and is signed by Daptone Records. They oftentimes invite other artists to record with them, which gets more attention to their music. When they first started out around 2005, they were noticed for their “Afro-Soul” style music. They now refer to their style as “70’s Psychedelic Instrumental Music,” and they use all kinds of various instruments.
They released five albums between 2005 and 2014, and their music has made appearances in television, video games, and films including a commercial for the NFL Network, some of the Major League Baseball games for Playstation, the show Entourage, and an episode of the television show This American Life.
