The Chicks Bio
Dixie Chicks was formed in 1989 and is well-known for their contemporary country music. In America, they became the highest-selling female group. Their album “Wide Open Spaces” was launched in 1998 where they have been noted to keep the balance of different genres – aesthetic country pop and neo-traditionalist country.
For a long period of time, the Dixie Chicks remained silent. But in 2010, they announced that they will be joining Eagles and Keith Urban for a set of summer concerts. In 2006, Dixie Chicks released their “Taking the Long Way” album. This was a recording of their live set as Los Angeles Theater. It was released in DVD and Blu-ray by 2011.
