The Cold Stares Bio
The Cold Stares is a rock band from Indiana, United States. The band was formed in 2010, and its members include Brian Mullins (drums) and Chris Tapp (guitar and singer). The dynamic duo self-released their first four albums, which gained over 20 million streams on Spotify. In 2012, they released a new album, titled “A Cold Wet Night,” charted at number one on Amazon Music’s Blue Rock albums chart and sold more than 25,000 copies.
Their third album, “Mountain,” was released in 2018, followed by the fourth album, “Ways,” in 2019. The following year, they were supposed to support blues-rock artist Joe Bonamassa, but the event could not happen due to the COVID-19 outbreak. They released their fifth album “Heavy Shoes” in 2021. He has also released several EPs, including “Resonator” in 2015, “Look Over Yonder hill” in 2015, “Ways Blue” in 2019, and “Black Sunset” in 2020.
