The Cult Bio

The Cult is a rock band formed in 1983 in Bradford, West Yorkshire in the United Kingdom. The members of the band are Ian Astbury, Billy Duffy, Grant Fitzpatrick, Damon Fox, and John Tempesta.

The band’s second album, Love, was released in 1985 and it climbed to No. 5 of the UK charts. The singles “Rain” and “Revolution” from the album made it to No. 17 and No. 30, respectively, of the UK charts.

The band released Beyond Good and Evil in 2001 and the album charted in the US, Canada, and Spain. The single “Rise” made it to No. 2 of the mainstream rock charts. The Cult’s latest effort, Hidden City, was released in 2016. The band also released the single City on Fire featuring Kadeem King in 2017.
