The Cure is an English rock band, formed in 1976, in Crawley, England. The band’s member lineup has changed a few times over the course of its career, with Robert Smith being the only constant original member. Their debut album, named Three Imaginary Boys, released in 1979, helped them gain instant recognition. Some of The Cure’s hit singles are Lullybay, Friday I’m In Love, Let’s Go To Bed, and Just Like Heaven. Since they first started out, The Cure have released thirteen studio albums in total, in addition to two EPs, and over thirty singles. In 2019, The Cure were introduced to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The Cure have received numerous awards, with The Brit Award, for which they have been nominated three times and won it two times, being one of them.
