Hailing from Coventry, West Midlands, England, The Enemy is an English band that performs Indie-rock, alternative rock, and punk rock music. The band consists of Tom Clarke on vocals, guitar, piano, Andy Hopkins on bass guitar on vocals, and Liam Watts on drums. Although they knew each other from childhood, The Enemy was formed in 2006, and they released their debut studio project 'We'll Live and Die in These Towns' in 2007.
Their discography includes the hit singles We’ll Live and Die in These Towns, Away from Here, This Song Is About You, Aggro, and the albums Music for the People, Streets in the Sky, and It’s Automatic. The Enemy has won a Q Award for Best New Act, an XFM Award for Best British Debut Album of 2007, and an NME Award for Best New Band. Their music was featured in the album Indie Anthems alongside fellow musical artists Coldplay, The Supernaturals, Primal Scream, and Gorillaz.
