The Expanders Bio
The Expanders are a roots, rock, reggae band formed in 2009. The band consists of members John Asher (drums/vocals), John Butcher (vocals/guitar), Roy Fishell (keyboard/organs), Chiquis Lozoya (bass/vocals), and Devin Morrison (guitar/vocals).
The Expander’s consider 2015’s Healing Culture album to be their first genuine debut, although they did release two records prior to their most current. Their first records what they described as “mostly a bunch of friends gathering around to play music together,” while their second album was primarily made up of cover songs. Healing Culture, if not technically their first album, is their first full length album created of original songs by the current band line up.
