The Faceless Bio
The Faceless is a progressive metal band from Encino, California. It started out with guitarist Michael Keene and bassist Brandon Giffin, and it currently staffs Julian Kersey (vocals), Andrew Virrueta (rhythm guitar), Jacob Umansky (bass), and Gabe Seeber (drums). Following the release of their EP “Akeldama” and their debut album “Planetary Duality,” they toured with the bands Necrophagist, Decapitated, Nile, The Black Dahlia Murder, Meshuggah, Lamb of God, and In Flames.
In 2012, The Faceless joined the bands Cannibal Corpse, Goatwhore, and Between The Buried And Me for the Summer Slaughter Tour. Later years also saw the band release the albums “Autotheism” (2012) and “In Becoming a Ghost” (2017). Like many niche genres, The Faceless chart decently within their own genre, but remain relatively obscure outside it. They’re aimed at appealing to the hardest of the hardcore.
