The Front Bottoms Bio

The Front Bottoms is an indie-rock duo formed in 2006 in Bergen County, New Jersey by childhood friends Brian Sella and Mathew Uychich, and a roster of different musicians through the years. They released two independent albums, “I Hate My Friends” and “My Grandmother vs. Pneumonia” in 2008 and 2009 respectively, before touring the United States. A first self-titled label-sponsored album went out in 2011 with Bar/None records. After releasing two more studio albums and a series of EP’s, the band made appearances in Austin City Limits and Coachella festivals, and also toured the United Kingdom with Frank Turner and Blink-182, resulting in commercial success for the subsequent full-length album “Back on Top” (2015). The duo went on to release “Going Grey” (2017), a split album with Kevin Devine, and “In Sickness & In Flames” in 2020.
