The Goon Sax Bio
The Goon Sax is an Australian indie pop group from Birsbane made up of Riley Jones, Louis Forster and James Harrison that has been received with great critical success. In 2016, the band released their debut album, Up to Anything with Chapter Music label. They have also taken the stage with the US Girls, The Crayon Fields and Twerps, along with other artists. Up to Anything received an 82 out of 100 on Metacritic, which means it is considered to have “universal acclaim” from critics. In December 2016, they were on Billboard’s critics’ list of the Top 50 albums of the year, being described as a “gorgeous collection of slacker-default rock”. THe band has also been well received by other platforms and critics.
