The Haxan Cloak Bio

The Haxan Cloak is the stage name of Bobby Krlic, an English musician, composer and producer. He was born in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, in 1985. Krlic began his career studying music in West Yorkshire and his debut eponymous album, which was entirely self-produced and recorded in the basement of his family house, was released in 2009. In 2012, Krlic released a 27-minute live single-track EP, entitled “The Men Parted the Sea to Devour the Water”, and a couple of years later he teamed up with The Body, an American sludge metal band, to produce the 2014 album “I Shall Die Here”. The following year, he collaborated on Björk’s album “Vulnicura” and that same year he collaborated on the soundtrack of Steve Hoover’s documentary “Almost Holy” and “Triple 9”, by John Hillcoat, as well as the soundtrack to the film Ari Aster Modsommar.
