The Holdup Bio
The Holdup is an American band from San Jose, California that plays in the genres of reggae, hip-hop, and pop. The group consists of current members MIke Garmany, Grant Averill, JUstin Kastner. Its past members consist of Kyle Christensen, Tyler Scurti, Danny Flores, Clev Stiles, and Nick Santana.
The group began performing original songs around San Jose in 2006 and released their first EP in summer of 2008 called The Holdup.The Ep quickly sold 1000 copies. They signed with the label Dub Rock and began work on their first album. Their debut album called Stay Gold was released in 2099 and debuted at number 1 on the iTunes Reggae Charts. In 2010 they released their follow up album called Confidence. The album also debuted at number 1 on the iTunes Reggae Charts. In 2011 they released the album Still Gold. in 2012 the band released their fourth album called Consequence.
