The Hotelier is an American indie rock band from Worcester, Massachusetts. They are signed with Dreams of Field Recordings, and play music that falls into the alternative rock genre. While attending high school in Dudley, Massachusetts, lead singer Christian Holden met Chris Hoffman, Zack Shaw, and Sam Frederick, all of whom would go on to form The Hotelier. The band was officially established in June 2009. "Home, Like Noplace Is There", the band's second studio album released in 2015, was named one of Spin magazine's "The 101 Best Albums of the 2010s" and is regarded as an "essential emo album" by AltPress. Moreover, the band has played at well-known music festivals like the Pirate Satellite Festival, the Pitchfork Music Festival, and the Primavera Sound Festival.
