The King’s Singers Bio

The King's Singers, a distinguished British acappella vocal ensemble renowned for their mastery of classical and pop music, were established at King's College, Cambridge, in 1968 by six choral scholars. Initially gaining acclaim in the UK during the 1970s and early 1980s, their appeal transcended borders and captivated American audiences in subsequent years. Named after their alma mater, the group sustains an ever-evolving lineup.

Presently, The King's Singers are global ambassadors of vocal excellence, captivating audiences across approximately 125 concerts annually, with frequent performances in Europe, the US, and East Asia. Their extensive discography includes timeless renditions of classics such as "Silent Night," "Sleigh Ride," "Coventry Carol," "A Spotless Rose," and "Born on a New Day." Notable albums like "Cappella," "Simple Gifts," and "Renaissance" showcase their versatility and enduring impact on the a cappella genre.
