The Midnight Bio
The Midnight is an American synthwave/electronic music band founded in 2012 by Jamison Tyler Lyle and Tim Daniel McEwan, who both are singers and songwriters. The duo’s debut creations were the singles “WeMoveForward” and “Gloria”, which would later be featured in their 2014 EP “Days of Thunder”. In 2016, they released their debut studio album “Endless Summer”, which was a huge success. They began performing regularly in L.A. and other important cities like San Francisco, where they shared the stage with the likes of FM-84 and Wride. Their second EP “Nocturnal” was very well received, entering the Top 20 on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic charts. Their sound is very influenced by the 1970s aesthetic, specially in their use of nostalgic synth melodies.
