Misfits Bio
The Misfits is a rock band formed in Lodi, New Jersey in 1977. The current members of the band are Glenn Danzig, Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein, Dave Lombardo, Jerry Only, and Acey Slade.
The group released the single, their first, Cough/Cool in 1977. The group released the Bullet single containing four songs through Plan 9 Records the year after. What was supposed to be the group’s debut album, Static Age, was released in 1996.
In 1980, the Misfits released another EP Beware. In 1982, the group released Walk Among Us. The Misfits was reformed in 1997, the same year they released Violent World: A Tribute to the Misfits. They released American Psycho album in the same year. The group also released Famous Monsters in 1999, Project 1950 in 2003 and The Devil’s Rain in 2011.
