The Murlocs Bio
The Murlocs was formed in Melbourne, Australia in 2011. The genres they play are psychedelic rock, blues rock, Garage rock, and some R&B. The band is formed by Ambrose Kenny-Smith as vocals and guitar, Cal Shortal as guitar, Cook Craig as bass guitar, Tim Karmouche as keyboard player, and Matt Blach as drums. The first album “Loopholes” was released in 2014, in collaboration with Flightless Records. They have supported rock bands such as The Pixies, and artists like Mac DeMarco, Ty Segall, Stephen Malkmus, and Gary Clarke Jr. They have also participated in Australian festivals such as Gizzfest, Splendour In The Grass, and Meredith Music Festival, but also in other countries festivals like Austin Psych Fest in Texas, United States.
