The Naked and Famous is an indie-electronic band formed in 2008 in Auckland, New Zealand, by instrumentalist Thom Powers, vocalist Alisa Xayalith, and a number of changing musicians. Their first album went out under the name “Passive Me, Aggressive You” topped the charts with the single “Young Blood”, which prompted the band on a world tour. They made their dent in the United States Alternative Billboard chart from their following album release “In Rolling Waves” in 2013 with three singles namely “Hearts Like Ours”, “I Kill Giants” and “A Stillness”. The band has toured with Wavves and Blink-182. 2018’s “A Still Heart” was released after the band moved to Los Angeles. The band’s work has appeared in more than 35 TV shows, including The Vampire Diaries and Grey’s Anatomy.
