The Rions Bio

The Rions are a musical band from Avalon, Sydney, Australia. The band consists of vocalist and bass guitarist Noah Blockley, guitarists Harley Wilson and Asher McLean, and drummer Tom Partington. They were schoolmates when they started the band in 2016. In 2021, they won the Australian national youth broadcaster Triple J's Unearthed High competition for their song Night Light. Later that year, the band released the single Disassociation and signed to UNIFIED Music Group. On August 11, 2023, The Rions released their debut EP Minivan, featuring songs like Scary Movies and Take What You Want. The EP is produced by Chris Collins, who has also produced for Matt Corby, Skeggs, Middle Kids, and more. In 2022, they sold out their tour several months in advance and played at festivals in Australia supported by the likes of Lime Cordiale, Pacific Avenue, and more. |
