The Rose Bio
Debuting under the management team J&Star Company, The Rose, a KPOP band, released their first single Sorry in 2017. Consisting of members Woosung, Hajoon, Jaehyung and Dojoon, The Rose entered into the pop-rock genre as an immediate success, receiving over 3 million views on their first single’s YouTube video and having it named by Billboard as one of 2017’s best Korean songs. Soon after, the band sold out their first European Tour, performing in cities such as London, Brussels, and Moscow, an impressive feat for an amateur band. With their success only expanding, 2018 saw The Rose win the International K-Music Awards Most Promising Artist.
Continuing to soar, the band embarked on a second world tour, performing their 12 released songs as well as covers of songs by top artists such as Harry Styles and James Bay. In 2020, The Rose were said to be opening for esteemed artist Halsey, which was unfortunately postponed due to the threat of COVID-19. In 2020, they also filed a lawsuit against J&Star Company to terminate their contract and began uploading music to an independent YouTube channel called The Rose Sound.
