The Shapeshifters is the stage name of English house and dance music producer and DJ, Simon Marlin. At the beginning, in 2004, the project also involved Max Reich, but since 2017 Marlin has carried on the project as a soloist. The duo’s debut single “Lola’s Theme” was released in 2004, and it was a huge success, reaching number one on the UK Singles Chart. They released their second single “Back To Basics” during the next year, which also made it to the UK Top 10 Singles, solidifying their reputation as hit makers. Their debut album “Sound Advice” was released in 2006, peaking at number 76 in the UK Albums chart. It was also nominated as Best Foreign Dance Album at the 2007 Hungarian Music Awards. During their career, they have released over 20 remixes, 30 original singles and 9 albums. In 2019, Marlin collaborated with Kimberly Davis on the track “Life Is a Dancefloor”.
