The Sheepdogs are a Canadian rock and roll band that was formed in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, in 2006. Ewan Currie is the primary singer and guitarist of the band, while Sam Corbett plays the drums, Jimmy Bowskill plays the guitar, Ryan Gullen plays the bass guitar, and Shamus Currie is a multi-instrumentalist who plays trombone, keyboards, and tambourine. They were the first unsigned band ever to make it onto the cover of Rolling Stone in 2011, and their popularity has only increased since then. The current active members of the band include Ewan Currie, Leot Hanskn, Ryan Gullen, and Sam Corbett. Moreover, they have played at the Saskatoon Centennial Celebration, and have served as an opening act for Matt Mays and El Torpedo.
