The Singing Contractors Bio

The Singing Contractors is a gospel duo based in Indianapolis, composed of Josh Arnett and Aaron Gray. Arnett was born and raised in Anderson, Indianapolis, and Gray was raised in Charleston, South Carolina. They both had family gospel bands, and they met in their teens, while performing with their families. They worked in construction, and they started working together around 2012. They would usually work and sing and they decided to record themselves and broadcast the video on YouTube. Their first video singing “How Great Thou Art” led to over one million views and they soon got a fan base along with their nickname The Singing Contractors. They appeared on the show “Fox & Friends” hosted by Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade and they sang “How Great Thou Art”. They raised money in their community to record an album and the Gaither Music Group produced it. Their album is titled “Working On A Building: Hymns & Gospel Classics”.
