The Sounds Bio

The Sounds are a Swedish indie rock band formed in 1999 in Helsingborg, Sweden. The band is fronted by Maja Ivarsson (vocals), and members are Jesper Anderberg (keyboards/piano/guitar), Fredrik Nilsson (drums), Johan Bengtsson (bass), and Felix Rodriguez (guitar). Their debut album Living in America, with its breakthrough singles Seven Days a Week and Rock'n`Roll, was released in 2002. The album reached number 4 on the Swedish album charts. Their second album, Dying to Say This to You, was released in 2006 and reached number 8 on the Swedish album charts.
