The Steel Woods Bio
The Steel Woods is an American country music group that Started in Nashville, Tennessee in the 2010s. In 2016, the band released their first EP, which was self-titled. Their debut album entitled Straw in the Wind was then released in May 2017. It featured the vocals from known country musician Lindi Ortega, and compositions from another renowned country musician named Brent Cobb. In July 2017, they released a music video for the album’s title track. In 2018, they released a cover of Tom Petty’s Southern Accents. By January 2019, the band released their next musical effort entitled Old News. Currently, the band’s lineup include Wes Bayliss on guitar and vocals; Jason Cope on guitar; Jay Tooke on drums and vocals; and Johnny Stanton on bass.
