The Tallest Man On Earth is the pseudonym of Swedish Indie-folk singer/songwriter Kristian Matsson. He was born in 1983 in Leksand, and after taking part in rock bands, he branched out in a solo effort with a self-titled, acoustic EP in 2006. The album went out with the label Gravitation and received positive reviews, and so did his debut LP “Shallow Grave” in 2008. Matsson then set on a promotional tour for the album, supporting artists like Bon Iver and John Vanderslice. In 2010 the artist released his sophomore effort “The Wild Hunt”, followed shortly after by the EP “Sometimes the Blues Is Just a Passing Bird”, both for the US label Dead Oceans. Two years later, the more elaborate “There's No Leaving Now” LP went out, and 2015 found Matsson issuing “Dark Bird Is Home”, featuring production by Bj Burton. A series of testimonial and musical video clip releases ensued, later compiled in 2018’s “I Love You. It’s A Fever Dream”.
