Formed in Australia in 2005, The Temper Trap is comprised of vocalist Dougy Mandagi, bass guitarist Jonathon Aherne, keyboardist/guitarist Joseph Greer, and drummer Toby Dundas. Shortly after forming, the group signed to Liberation Music and released their first EP entitled The Temper Trap in late 2006. In the summer of 2009, The Temper Trap released their debut album Conditions, which was preceded in late 2008 by the single “Sweet Disposition”, a critically acclaimed song that shot to fame thanks to its appearance in the movie (500) Days of Summer. It charted highly in Belgium, Ireland, and on the UK Singles charts. They would spend the better part of 2010 appearing at various music festivals, and in February of 2011, they were nominated at the BRIT Awards for Best International Breakthrough Artist. Their sophomore album, which was self titled, was released in May of 2012.
