The Texas Tenors are a famous classical crossover trio formed in 2009 in the United States. The trio was originally formed by the country singer JC Fisher, the Broadway singer Marcus Collins, and the opera singer John Hagen. The three have met while competing on the popular American television show America’s Got Talent where they were a top-four finalist, which made them the highest-ranking vocal group in the show’s history. The trio decided to continue their work after the show ended. Their self-titled, debut album was released in 2009, and they have recorded four more since. The Texas Tenors have also released a couple of live albums. The trio is a three-time Emmy Award winner, apart from receiving multiple acknowledgments and nominations.
