The Trews Bio
The Trews are one of the most successful Canadian hard rock bands from Antigonish, Nova Scotia. The band consists of vocalist Colin MacDonald, guitarist John-Angus MacDonald, bassist Jack Syperek, and drummer Chris Gormley. The band formed in 1997, while the members were in high school, but burst onto the scene in 2004. Their single Not Ready to Go became the most played song on Canadian rock radio that year. Throughout their career, The Trews have had around 20 top ten rock singles, six gold certifications including four gold-certified albums and two singles. The Canadians were performing with bands like the Rolling Stones and Kiss, and performers like Bruce Springsteen and Robert Plant. The band released their seventh album titled Wanderer in November 2021.
