Rap duo The Underachievers is comprised of Flatbush, Brooklyn, natives Issa and Akeem who came together in 2011 to form their musical endeavor. They met in 2007 and instantly bonded over their love of music culture. Their first music video ever was released for the song “So Devilish” in 2012, and later released the song “Gold Soul Theory”, which received air time on BBC Radio. Later that year, they joined the supergroup Beast Coast with fellow rap groups Pro Era and Flatbush Zombies. Their debut official mixtape was released in early 2013, titled Indigoism, and later collaborated with Flatbush Zombies on the track “No Religion”. In August of 2013, they released the mixtape Lords of Flatbush, which they followed with their debut studio album Cellar Door: Terminus Ut Exordium in 2014.
