The Walters Bio

The Walters are a band hailing from Chicago, Illinois, in the United States. The year 2014 marked the release of the band's debut extended play (EP) titled Songs for Dads, which featured the streaming hit “Fancy Shoes.” The band consists of guitarist and vocalist MJ Tirabassi, lead vocalist Luke Olson, lead guitarist Walter Kosner, bassist Danny Wells, and drummer Charlie Ekhaus. Additionally, Luke Olson provides the lead vocals for the band. In 2015, the band released their debut studio album, titled Young Men. The band disbanded in 2017 with the release of the track "She's Gonna Leave You," and they didn't get back together again until 2021, when their song "I Love You So" became a social media phenomenon. Moreover, they released the single “Million Little Problems” in 2022, after signing a lucrative contract with Warner Records the previous year.
