Theory of a Deadman Bio

Theory (formerly Theory of A Deadman) is a Canadian pop-rock band formed in 2001 in Delta, British Columbia by vocalist Tyler Conolly, guitarist Dave Brenner, bassist Dean Back, and drummer Tim Hart. The group would be later joined by Vince Neil’s drummer Brent Fitz, and shortened their name to Theory in 2017. They achieved fame status with their eponymous debut in 2002, a platinum-selling record. That same year, their single “Hero” was the theme for the movie Spider-Man. In 2003 they were musical guests on The Tonight Show by Jay Leno and featured on the MuchMusic Video Awards. A second album called Gasoline was followed by certified gold album Scars and Souvenirs in 2007. After two more albums, their fifth release Wake-Up Call went out in 2017 and hit Canada’s Top 10. 2020’s “Say Nothing” marked their seventh release.
